Eligibility :
Candidates who have qualified in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) and who, in addition, possess the requisite qualifications as indicated in the Brochure for respective departments/schools, are eligible for admission to Post-Graduate courses to M.Tech./M.Pharm. degree.

Candidates whose B.Tech./B.E. results are not yet declared or who are due to appear in the qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply.

Duration : The course is of 24 months duration divided into four semesters. The 1st semester normally starts in the 2nd week of July.

IP University BBA Entrance Test Analysis 2007

The IP University examination conducted for BBA - 2007 had its usual share of surprises in all the sections. The paper was a mixture of easy and medium difficulty level questions. There were 150 questions to be answered in 150 minutes. The maximum mark for each question was 4 and the negative mark for a wrong answer was -1. The overall break up with the sectional analysis is as given below:

Mahrashtra Common Entrance Test 2008 : Analysis

As per expectations, MCET continued with its usual pattern. As always, it was a mix of all possible types of reasoning questions with some surprises thrown in. There were no questions based on Input/Output Flowchart and Critical Reasoning.

There were 50 questions from English, 45 from Mathematics & Data Interpretation and 105 questions from Reasoning. This means that MCET has not changed the weight-age of different sections from the previous years.

Salient Features:
Total Questions: 200
Total Time: 150 minutes
Marking Scheme: Equal weightage for each question and there was no negative marking.
No. of Options: 5 options (1, 2, 3, 4 and 5)

Maharashtra MBA CET - Test Pattern

Common Entrance Test (CET) is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education.It is accepted by over 80 institutes in Maharashtra, including the prestigious Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS). This year, non-Maharashtra students were reportedly required to score 135 marks out of 200 in order to make it to JBMS. The reported cut-off for Maharashtra students was around 130.
The pattern for CET 2006
Objective type written test
Total number of question: 200
Time allotted: 150 min
Number of choices per question: 5
No negative marking

CET tends to be heavy on reasoning part and light on quantitative analysis. CET 2006 had roughly the following pattern:
Verbal ability: 35, Reading comprehension: 15, Quantitative analysis: 14, Data interpretation: 20,
Data sufficiency: 15, Analytical reasoning: 51, Verbal reasoning: 20, Non-verbal reasoning: 30,
The total marks for GD/interview/academics/work experience is 40.

H.P.Combined Pre-Medical Entrance Test (CPMT) – 2008

Applications are invited for admission to MBBS/BDS courses (1st year) in Govt. Medical / Dental Colleges including Private Un-aided Dental Colleges (State/Management Quota) in Himachal Pradesh for the academic session 2008-09.The examination will be held on May 29, 2008 at Shimla, Mandi, Dharamshala and Hamirpur Examination Centres. An objective type (MCQ) question will be asked for this Entrance Test.

LAST DATE: The last date for receipt of application forms complete in all respects either by hand or by Registered/Speed Post in the office of the Deputy Registrar (Entrance Tests) is 5.5.2008 upto 5 PM where after no application shall be accepted. The NRI Candidates (Foreign Students) shall send their applications complete in all respects direct to the Principal(s) of the concerned College(s) latest by 31.5.2008.
