The IP University examination conducted for BBA - 2007 had its usual share of surprises in all the sections. The paper was a mixture of easy and medium difficulty level questions. There were 150 questions to be answered in 150 minutes. The maximum mark for each question was 4 and the negative mark for a wrong answer was -1. The overall break up with the sectional analysis is as given below:
Verbal Ability:Number of questions-38
General Awareness:Number of questions-37
Reasoning and Logical ability:Number of questions-38
Management & Communication Section (Reasoning section):Number of questions-37
TOTAL:150
Probable overall cut-off:280
I. Verbal Ability:
38 questions of it was respective difficult and the number of questions that you could have attempted correctly are as given below.
Synonyms:Number of questions-14 ,Easy
Antonyms:Number of questions-3 ,Easy
Reading Comprehension (1 passage):Number of questions-8 ,Easy to Mediam
Choose correctly spelled words:Number of questions-14 ,Easy to Medium
Preposition:Number of questions-5 ,Easy
The questions on synonyms and antonyms questions were easy. Here’s an example:
Synonyms: Purpose, Carve, Large, Catching Up, Trio, Adage, Sagacity, Wrath
Antonyms Treat, Reinforce, Overly
The Reading Comprehension passages could have been very easily dealt with. A score of 30 was quite possible in this section.you should invest your time upto 35-40 minutes.
II. General Awareness:
This section was a mix of difficult and easy questions.The questions were mostly based on Static General Knowledge and the Indian Constitution. Static part consisted mainly of History. Probable score in this section would be 25-26 marks .you should invest your time upto 30 minutes.

2. Percentage of water on Earth
3. The year is longest on which planet
4. International Court of Justice headquarters
5. Which city is situated on the bank of Tiber river
6. Which Indian state has the largest coastline
7. Most irrigated state in India
8. Largest tin yielding state in India
9. Removal of soil at a faster rate formation is called
10. Largest producer of sugar in the world
III. Reasoning, Logical Ability and Management Aptitude Section:
These two sections were named differently,but had questions on reasoning. Two sections consisted of an array of questions that were similar in nature, but were phrased differently. you should invest your time upto 75 minutes.The overall sectional breakup of these two sections with the difficulty level and probable cut off is as given below:
Number series:Number of questions-3,Easy
Analytical Reasoning(3 sets):Number of questions-10(3+4+3),Easy
Missing element:Number of questions-6,Easy and Mediam.
(Number, as well as, alphabet)
Analogy:Number of questions-8,Easy.
Coding:Number of questions-8,Very Easy.
Odd-one-out:Number of questions-10,Easy to Mediam.
No question on Data interpretation table.But sometimes they ask mediam difficulty level questions.
Management Words via fill in the blanks:Number of questions-10,Easy.
1 passage with fill in the blanks:Number of questions-10,Easy
There are 10 question on GK, including meaning of RITES , 100 rupee note printed at which place and First Indian super computer.It is all mediam difficulty level questions.
TOTAL :75
A score of 270-280 could be reasonably expected from this paper.
